The experience begins in the city of Chiapa de Corzo, famous for its lacquer work and the Mudéjar architecture of its Crown, where a river excursion along the Grijalva river will lead us to the majestic Sumidero Canyon. Here, immersed between dizzying rock walls, we will observe rare birds and crocodiles that populate this evocative natural environment. There will be no shortage of moments of encounter with local culture: in Chiapa de Corzo, in fact, we will participate in a craft workshop, followed by a coffee break in the main park to savor the authentic aroma of this land.

Continuing the journey, we will explore the Sima de las Cotorras, an impressive natural cavity, and we will venture into the cool waterfall of El Aguacero, where the majestic Grand Canyon de La Venta opens up. And, to make this immersion in local tradition memorable, we will treat ourselves to a dinner accompanied by marimba music and typical Chiapas dishes.

Immersion in nature will reach its peak in the El Triunfo Biosphere, one of the best preserved foggy reserves in the world, where, among the dense forests, the legendary Quetzal hides. In the company of expert biologists, we will explore the paths of the reserve, observing the awakening of nature and taking part in walks to discover the local flora and fauna. We will stay in a campsite, surrounded by lush vegetation, and end the days around a campfire under the stars.

After leaving El Triunfo, an exciting crossing awaits us through the mangroves of the Chiapas coast, where trees with intertwined roots are home to rare species of fauna and flora. Here we will explore the Encrucijada Reserve, a unique scenario where sea and vegetation form a complex and fascinating habitat. We will end the day in the Itaca Resort eco-lodge, located near the beaches of Boca del Cielo, an expanse of pristine sand ideal for relaxing and contemplating the sunset.

Our immersion in the biodiversity of Chiapas continues with a visit to the suggestive CASA MANDALA hotel and the refined Argovia Resort, a place that represents a model of sustainability. Here, we will learn about the life cycle of coffee and the tropical plants used in daily life.
