Montalbano was the Medici's favorite hunting spot.
Hunting was a typical princely expression and was expressed through a precise court ceremonial. Among the numerous Medici hunting reserves, the most important was the bandit known as “Barco Reale”.
With a special walk you will be able to immerse yourself in the landscape frequented by the Medici and Leonardo himself and discover what remains of the monumental stone wall, almost 3 meters high and over 50 km long spanning five municipalities: Vinci, Quarrata, Carmignano, Capraia, Lamporecchio.
